Childhood
Yukio Nami was born in Gridania, on the 15th Sun of the 4th Astral Moon, to two parents whom she never met. Her birth mother died in childbirth, and her father was an drunkard who ended up leaving for Limsa Lominsa before Yukio started crawling. Yukio was eventually picked up by a coven of White Mages whom raised her through her early childhood. This is how she came about her White Mage training.
Entering into her early teenage years, Yukio felt she didnt belong with the coven, often getting in trouble for disregarding coven rules. Yukio eventually left, running away to seek her new life.
Yukio left for Ul'dah where she began working part time as a barkeep. Despite her outbursts at the coven, Yukio still was in her shell in public, unable to express her true self. During her teenage years, Yukio slowly came into her own, becoming an more rebellious and outgoing girl. However, she began to become a loose cannon, oft causing trouble for the bar she worked at. This caused her to be fired and forced to leave her stay there. She walked around the city, eventually stumbling onto a fairly sized home within the 3rd Ward of the Goblet. She broke in...
After breaking into this random home, Yukio would meet with Rhashta Tumet, whom she convinced to allow her to stay there, at least until she got on her feet. Although, not long after staying for awhile, and meeting the rest of the family would Yukio be offered permanent residence.
Yukio now lives with her adoptive family, in the 3rd Ward. She cares for her family on an incredibly deep level, as she has found belonging with them. She has picked up swordsmanship in recent time, keeping her blade firmly slotted into staff made out of a sheathe, allowing her to channel her white magick, while keeping her blade ready.The future may prove to be unique for Yukio, time will only tell.
